1-1/2 pounds ground beef, chuck or round
1 large onion, chopped fine
1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
7 oz. pkg. egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
1 small can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 small can peas, drained
3/4 c. water
6 slices american or cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef with onion and pepper. Pour off fat and mix beef with remaining ingredients in large baking dish or casserole. Top with cheese slices and bake at 350 degrees 25 to 30 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
