1 1/4 cup of flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup milk
1tsp . vanilla
8 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
apricot halves drained
crushed pineapple

Directions:

Prepare 9x9 pan:
Melt 4 tbsp butter in pan and sprinkle with 1/2 c. brown sugar.Arrange apricot halves (about 10) in pan and put drained pineapple around the apricots.

Cream 4 tbsp butter and sugar. Sift dry ingredients Beat egg, milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients alternately with egg mixture to sugar mixture. Pour over prepared fruit and bake in 350 degree oven for about 40 min.
