Eclair Torte Recipe

1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1/4 t. salt
1 c. flour
4 eggs
1 8oz cream cheese
2 3.4oz pkg. instant vanilla pudding
3 c. cold milk
1 8oz whipped topping
chocolate syrup

In a saucepan on medium heat bring water, butter, and salt to a boil; then add flour all at once. Stir until a smooth ball forms. Remove from heat, let stand 5 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, by hand with a wooden spoon beating well after each addition.
Spread into a greased 9x13x2 pan. Bake at 400. 30-35 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown. Cool completely on a wire rack.
In a mixing bowl, mix cream cheese, pudding and milk until smooth.
Spread over puff.
Refrigerate 20 minutes, spread whipped topping on top. As you are ready to serve drizzle chocolate syrup over each helping.
