1 egg
1/4 c sour cream
3/4 c milk
2 T vegetable oil
1 c flour
1 T sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine egg, sour cream, milk and oil. In a separate bowl, mix together dry ingredients. Add the liquids to the dry ingredients and mix just until moistened. Cook on lightly oiled skillet or griddle.
(The original recipe calls for 1/2 c sour cream and 1/2 c milk, but I found the batter a little too thick.)

I got this recipe from Kathleen Kimball when we lived in Haverhill, MA. We used it for our Sunday School Pancake breakfasts. I like to add 1/2 of a lightly mashed or cut up banana to the batter.
