1 1/2 c. flour 1 t. soda 1 c. shortening 3 c. quick oatmeal 3/4 c. brown sugar 3/4 c. white sugar 2 eggs, beaten 1 c. ground salted peanuts
Cream shortening and sugar gradually. Add well beaten eggs. Add flour which has been sifted with soda. Add oatmeal and ground peanuts. Drop a teaspoon of batter on lightly greased baking sheet. Press down with a fork. Bake at 375 about 15 minutes, or until light brown.
