1 cup white corn meal
1 T flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 T minced onion
(about 1/2 cup milk)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients then add egg and minced onion. Stir in approximately 1/2 cup milk to make stiff batter. Drop from tablespoon into 1 inch hot frying oil and fry over medium heat untill golden brown, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels and serve at once.
