1 T. butter, melted
1 c. dates, cut fine
1 c. powdered sugar

Directions:
Mix all together and chill. Melt 1 cup chocolate chips and 2 squares chocolate with 1" square of parafin wax (used for putting on top of jelly when it is made) in double boiler. Roll date and nut mixture into walnut size balls and dip in chocolate mixture. Keep chocolate over the hot water while doing this so it remains thin enough to coat the date balls.
