1 cup sifted flour
1 cup hot water
1/2 cup butter
4 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Heat water & butter together to boiling point. Add flour all at once & stir constantly with wooden spoon until mixture leaves sided of the pan & forms into a ball.

Remove from heat & cool thoroughly. Add unbeaten eggs one at a time, beating until a smooth paste. The beat mixture until smooth & velvety.

Drop from spoon on an ungreased baking sheet, forming balls the size of a small orange. Keep 3 inches apart.

First bake @ 450 for 15 minutes, or until puffs have fully expanded. Reduce heat in oven to 35 & bake for 30 - 35 minutes.

Allow to cool.

I don't remember these, but Dad said Mom made them often. Lots of work with bakeries so near by.
