1/2 c. powdered sugar (no lumps)
1 c. butter
3/4 c. corn starch
1 c. flour
1/2 t. vanilla
1/4 t. almond extract
1/4 t. salt
Almond Slivers

Frosting:
1 c. powdered sugar
2 T. butter
1/4 t. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix in order given until well blended. Form into 1" balls and bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes, or until lightly brown.
For the frosting: Add a little cream to the powdered sugar and butter and cream until nice spreading consistency. While warm spread frosting on the cookies. **You can add pink or green food coloring for Xmas cookies. Put an almond sliver on top of each cookie.
