1 1/2 c. sugar
1c. cooked or canned pumpkin
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. water
2 eggs
1 2/3 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. ground cinnamon
3/4 t. salt
1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. ground nutmeg
1/4 t. ground cloves
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. chopped raisins, optional

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, pumpkin, oil, water and eggs; beat well. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to pumpkin mixture and mix well. Stir in nuts and raisins, if desired. Pour into 9x5x3 loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 65-70 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan before removing to wire rack.
