3 med tart apples peeled and sliced
3 med pears peeled and sliced
1 tbs lemon juice
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c maple syrup
1/4 c butter melted
1/2 c chopped pecans
1/4 c raisins
2 cinnamon sticks (3")
1 tbs cornstarch
2 tbs cold water

Directions:
Directions:
in a slow cooker,toss apples and pears with lemon juice. Combine the brown sugar,maple syrup and butter; pour overfuit. Stir in the pecans,raisins and cinnamon sticks. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
Combine cornstarch and water until smooth; gradually stir into slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 30-40 min or until thickened. Discard cinnnamon sticks. Serve over pound cake or ice cream.
