1 c plus 1 tsp butter divided
1 c light corn syrup
2 1/4 c packed brown sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 lb pecan halves toasted
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 c milk chocolate chips
3/4 c semisweet chocolate chips
4 tsp shortening

Line baking sheet with waxed paper; lightly coat with nonstick cooking spray and set aside. Butter the sides of a heavy sauce pan with 1 tsp butter. Cube remaining butter; place in pan. Add corn syrup,brown sugar, and salt. Cook and stir until sugar is melted.
Gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Cook and stir until candy thermometer reads 248 (firm ball stage), about 16 min. Remove from the heat stir in vanilla. Gently stir in pecans. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared pans. Refrigerate until firm about 12 min.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chip and shortening; stir until smoothdrizzle over the clusters. Chill until firm, store in refrigerator.
