1 pound ground meat (or enough meat for everyone one patti)
8 large carrots, peeled and cut
4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
butter
sliced onions
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Season hamburger meat and make patties. One patty for each foil packet. Place each patty in the middle of a 12 inch square of heavy duty foil. Places vegetables on top of meat and season. Place dabs of butter around meat and vegetables. Seal foil and place directly on hot coals for about 10 to 15 minutes, shaking or turning gently periodically or place on a grill for 30 to 40 minutes.

Clark and I always make these when we go camping. It is a wonderful simple meal that can be prepared ahead of time and its a great way to enjoy your campfire.
