1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
2 cans tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste
chopped onion to taste
12 saltine crackers crushed
4 large slice potatoes
chopped onion

Directions:
Directions:
Slice potatoes and lay in a 9x13 baking dish; sprinkle the top of potatoes with salt, pepper and chopped onions to taste. In a mixing bowl, combine hamburger meat, chopped onions, salt and pepper to taste, crushed crackers and 1 1/2 cans tomato sauce. Mix well with hands. Lay hamburger mixture over potatoes and press flat. Pour remaining tomato sauce over meat. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Can uncover last 20 minutes to brown.
