1/2 c. flour
1/4 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1and 1/2 t. vanilla
1 and 1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate
2 c. pecans, halves or large pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Beat sugar, butter, vanilla and egg until light and fluffy. Mix in melted chocolate. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Then add to creamed mixture. Add pecans. Put a t. of batter on cookie sheet and bake 10 - 12 min. at 350 degrees.

This recipe was given to me by Emily many years ago. They are a favorite during the holidays. I usually double the recipe because they are so good and they go very fast.
