1/2 lb unsalted butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups sifted flour
1 1/4 cups ground walnuts
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
Confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar till fluffy.
Beat in flour 1/2 cup at a time.
Add nuts, vanilla, salt and beat until stiff.
Shape into a big ball in fridge for 1 hour.

Pre-heat oven to 350* - use greased cookie sheets

Take a walnut sized piece of dough and roll into a crescent shape 1" wide 1" thick.
Place 1/2" apart on sheet and bake 15-20 minutes till lightly colored. Cool 5 minutes - dust with powdered sugar.
