1 can condensed milk
1 stick oleo
1 c. flour
9 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 t. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Place milk, oleo and chocolate bits in a double boiler and let melt. I use a regular pot instead of a double boiler but you have to be careful not to scorch. Add 1 c. flour and mix well. Drop by teasponful on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Do not overbake. Cookies will be soft when first removed from oven. Remove from cookie sheet immediately when taken from oven.

Batter will be thin when you first start baking. It will thicken as it sets.
