1 German Chocolate cake mix 1 - 14 oz. bag caramels 1/2 c. evaporated milk 1 stick margarine 1 c. chocolate chips 1 c. chopped nuts
Mix cake as directed. Bake 1/2 of batter in a greased & floured 9 x 13 pan for 15 minutes. Melt together evaporated milk, margarine and caramels. Spoon over cake then sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped nuts evenly over cake. Spoon on the rest of the cake batter. Bake at 350 for 20 - 25 minutes.
