2 sticks butter or margarine
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 t. salt
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 t. baking soda
1 t. vanilla
4 bags microwave popcorn, popped, remove duds
Optional: 1 1/2 c. whole almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter/margarine in saucepan; add brown sugar, salt and corn syrup. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly. Add baking soda and vanilla.
In a dutch oven, stir together popcorn & caramel mixture - small batches at a time. Spread out on buttered cookie sheets. Place in a 250 oven for 15 minutes; flip over and move to top shelf; flip at 15 minute intervals, 3 times. Remove from oven and let cool. Break up and store in zip lock bags.
