1 pkg shel-roni pasta
1.5 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. onion
2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
1 3/4 c. spaghetti sauce
1 c. ricotta or cottage cheese
garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Cook Shel-Roni pasta according to package directions. Brown hamburger meat and drain fat. Stir in spaghetti sauce and simmer 10 min. Remove 1 c. meat sauce; set aside. Stir cooked Shel-Roni into meat sauce. Place 1/2 of the Shel-Roni mixture in a 2qt. casserole dish. Spoon ricotta or cottage cheese on top of meat mixture, sprinkle with 1 c. mozzarella cheese, place remaining meat/Shel-Roni mixture on top of cheese. Place reserved meat sauce and remaining mozzarella cheese on top of Shel-Roni meat mixture. Sprinkle w/fresh Parmesan cheese if desired. Cover and bake for 20-25 min. till hot and bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes
