1 C. dry rice (Uncle Ben's),
1 fryer chicken cut in serving pieces,
1 can cream of mushroom soup,
1 small can mushrooms, drained, (optional)
21/2 C. water,
1 pkg. Lipton onion dry soup mix,

Directions:
Directions:
Place dry rice evenly over bottom of large casserole dish. Arange chicken peices in a single layer on top of the rice. Sprinkle dry onion soup mix evenly over the chicken. Mix mushroom soup and water and slowly pour this over the top. Add mushrooms, if desired. Cover pan and bake in preheated 350 oven for 50 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 - 20 minutes.
