3 c. cabbage, grated or cut fine
2 T. butter
1/3 t. salt
1/8 t. black pepper
1/2 c. sugar
1 t. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Fry the cabbage in the butter in a skillet. Add remaining ingredients, and fry till golden brown but not burned. Adjust seasoning to taste. It needs to be sweet; yet pepper hot.
Take a tablespoon of the refrigerator dough, roll in flour and roll between the palms of your hands to make balls, put on greased pan and butter the rolls, then take the balls and make about a 3 inch circle and put a tablespoon of the cabbage filling on it and close dough around filling. Put seam side down and when all balls are filled; brush with butter, let rise a few minutes and bake at 375 till golden brown
