1 c. brown sugar (packed)
1 c. white sugar
1 c shortening
3 eggs
1 tsp. soda
tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. rolled oats
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
1 c. chocolate chips (use white chocolate chips)
2 c. flour *
1 c. nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugars, egg and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients mix with creamed mixture. Add rolled oats, chocolate chips and coconut last.
* test one cookie determine if need a little more flour.
Bake 10-12 minutes at 375.
