1 T. butter,
1 C. raisins,
11/2 C.water,
2 C. flour,
1 C sugar,
1 egg slightly beaten,
1 tsp. soda,
1 tsp. baking powder,
1/2 tsp. salt,
1/2 tsp. nutmeg,
1 tsp. cinnamon,

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, mix together butter, raisins, and water. Boil for 5 minutes. Let cool and add--
flour, egg, soda, baking powder, salt nutmeg and cinnamon.

Pour into a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 - 15 minutes.

Frost with vanilla frosting.
