3/4 C flour
1/2 tsp baking powdered
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 C melted shortening
1/2 C cocoa
1/4 C evaporated milk
2 Tbsp water
1 C sugar
1 Tbsp. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and set aside. In a saucepan, melt the shortening and add the cocoa. Combine milk and water and add gradually to the cocoa and shortening. Mix well. Add sugar, corn syrup and vanilla. Add 2 unbeaten eggs and beat well. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Pour into greased cake pan. Bake at 350 deg. for about 25 minutes.

Everyone enjoyed Aunt Rosie's Brownies. She and all of her sisters were great cookie bakers. Grandma Meyer did a great job of passing on all of her skills to her daughters.
