1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1-1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
In electric mixer, cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add peanut butter and egg. Blend in flour, soda, baking soda and salt. Cover and chill for one hour. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Shape chilled dough into one-inch balls. Place 3 inches apart on baking sheets lined with parchment paper sprayed with cooking spray. With fork dipped in flour, flatten dough balls in criscross pattern to two inches wide. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until just set and not brown on bottom or hard. Cool on racks.
