2 C Flour
2 C Sugar
1 stick oleo
1/2 c crisco
1 cup water
3 1/2 tbsp cocoa
1/2 c buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp soda
1 tbsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
DO NOT USE MIXER. Combine flour and sugar in bowl. In saucepan, combine and bring to boil oleo, water, shortening and Cocoa. Pour over flour and sugar mixture. Combine buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Add to first mixture and mix together. Pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake 20 minutes at 400. When cake has baked 18 minutes, combine in saucepan:

1 stick oleo
1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup cocoa

Bring to boil, cook until slightly thick. Add vanilla and 1 box powdered sugar. Heat until thick and creamy. Add 1 cup chopped pecans. Pour over hot cake and let cool slightly before cutting.
