1 lb. ground beef, fried out
1 1/2 onion, chopped
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
2 carrots, diced
1 turnip, cubed
5 potatoes, cubed
1 pint tomato juice
1 cup green beans
2/3 cups barley

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and cover with water, season with salt & pepper.

Simmer for 1 hr.

Adjust the amount of water to achieve the consistency you desire.
