1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1 T. vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
2-3 t. baking powder
1/4 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
4-5 mashed ripe bananas
3/4 - 1 cup chocolate chips, optional, but if you don't add them, why bother eating it!

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl. Bake in greased bread pan @ 350 degrees for 1 hour or until center is firm.
