1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
¼ tsp. salt
5 cups flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugars, butter, and oil, beating until light and fluffy. Beat and beaten eggs and vanilla thoroughly. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl, and stir into first mixture, blending thoroughly. Chill dough for several hours overnight if possible. Shape dough into ¾ inch balls. Place on baking sheet and flatten with glass dipped in granulated sugar. (Grease the bottom of the glass before dipping in sugar.) Bake 10 to 15 minutes in a 350° oven. DO NOT BROWN.
