1 cup sugar
1 cup applesauce
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup raisins
1 3/4 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening. Add sugar and applesauce. Mix spices with soda and flour. Add raisins to first mixture, then add dry ingredients. Pour 3/4 full in lined cupcake pans.
Bake 400 for 15 minutes.
