3 cups sugar
3/4 cup light corn syrup
3/4 cup water
3 large eggs, whites only
1 (3oz.) pkg. cherry gelatin
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 baking dish. Mix sugar, corn syrup and water. Microwave or heat on stove to hardball stage (260F). Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add gelatin until stiff and glossy. While beating constantly, slowly pour hot syrup into egg mix and continue beating 6-8 minutes until very thick. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread evenly in dish. Let stand at room temp. until completely cool. Cut in 1 inch squares.
