1 cup sugar
3 cups flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tarter
½ cup butter
½ cup Crisco
1 egg and 1 egg yolk
1 Tablespoon vanilla
3 Tablespoon milk
Directions:
Directions:
To dry ingredients, add shortening. Cut with knives until small. Add eggs, vanilla and milk. Mix. Roll until ¼ inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 375º. Don't let them completely finish baking before removing from oven.
