Ingredients:  
1 cup softened butter.
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups raisins
1 1/2 cups water (Boil raisins in water until plump. Drain. Cool)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour

Cream together Sugar, butter, and eggs. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add vanilla, cooled raisins. Make into balls and roll balls in sugar. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not over bake. Should be very little golden. Yummy

This is a recipe I got from the cooks right before I graduated from Teton Valley High School in Driggs, Idaho. They are delicious. Can you imagine? High School Cooks….cooking from scratch?! They aren’t your typical raisin cookies
