¾ soft butter
¾ cup white sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup light corn syrup
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
2½ cup flour
½ tsp salt
1½ baking powder
½ tsp baking soda

Sugar for rolling

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º
Combine all wet ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add all dry ingredients and mix until combined.
Scoop dough into whatever size you want and roll in sugar. Chill for 30 minutes in the refrigerator or freezer.
Bake for 10 minutes or until cookies are brown around the edges.

Variations:
Add a little almond extract or lemon zest, roll in sprinkles, drizzle with glaze.
