1 c water
2 sticks margarine or butter
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
4 tbsp cocoa
2 c sugar
1 tsp soda
1/2 c buttermilk

Frosting:
1 c nuts
2 sticks margarine or butter
1 tsp vanilla
4 tbsp cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
6 tbsp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients in bowl. Cook butter, cocoa and water until boiling. Pour butter mixture over dry ingredients and stir. Add buttermilk, vanilla and beaten eggs. Pour into greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

Frosting: In saucepan mix cocoa, butter and milk until bubbly. Sift in powdered sugar. Add nuts and vanilla. Mix well. Pour onto cake while still warm.
