1 c corn syrup
1 c boiling water
4 c sugar
4 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook corn syrup, water and sugar until it will form a soft ball in water. Beat eggs whites until stiff and dry. Pour half of the syrup into the egg whites and stir. Cook the remainder of the syrup mixture until it will crack if brittle. Stir the syrup mixture, gradually into the mixture until it gets stiff and creamy. Add vanilla before mixture gets too stiff. Add nuts if desired.
