2 1/2 c flour
1 1/2 c sugar
2 tsp cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 well beaten eggs
2 c salad oil

Icing
3 ozs. cream cheese
1 lb powdered sugar
1 cube margarine or butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup pecans or walnuts
1 c buttermilk
1 tsp vinegar
1/4 c red food coloring (small bottle)
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix eggs and oil until well blended. Stir in dry ingredients. Blend in milk, vinegar, food coloring and vanilla.
Pour into 2 round cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Icing
Cream all ingredients together. If dry, add a few drops of milk.
Sprinkle nuts over top of cake
