2 1/2 c. Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Ginger
1 tsp. Salt
2/3 c. Shortening
1/2 c. Sugar
1 Egg, unbeaten
1/2 c. Molasses
1/2 c. Sour Milk or Buttermilk
1 c. Raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the flour, soda, cinnamon, ginger, and salt.

Blend together the shortening, sugar, egg, and molasses. Add the milk and raisins.

Add the flour mixture to the molasses mixture.

Drop by teaspoon full onto prepared cooking sheet and bake at 350ºF for twelve (12) minutes or until done.
