4 lbs. ground beef
4 large onions, chopped (4 cups)
2 cups green pepper, chopped
4 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes, blended
2 (16 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons chili powder
teaspoon paprika
3 bay leaves, finely crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Season beef with 1 tablespoon salt. Brown meat in large skillet. Add onion and green pepper, Cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Cover; simmer 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Add water, if needed for desired consistency. Makes about 25 one-cup servings. Serve with warm corn bread, corn chips or tortilla chips.
