5 c flour
1 c butter, melted
2 c sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 egg
5 tsp ground anise
Milk, enough to moisten

Preheat 350ºF

Mix all ingredients together. Rollout and use cookie cutters. Bake until light golden on bottom. Cool and decorate.
