6-8 pippin apples
1/4 c. water
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. butter or marg.
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Peel, core and slice the apples into a baking dish. Add the water, lemon juice and rind. Work together into a "crumb", the flour, sugar, cinnamon, and butter. Spread the "crumb" over the apples.
Bake at 375 for 45 to 60 minutes, or until apples are tender.
