Personal Notes:
This is the best sugar cookie recipe I've ever found.

I tried several over the years and nothing has ever come close to this recipe - they roll out well, cut well, bake up crispy and keep well in a tight container.

We've made these cookies more times than I can remember over the last 45 years or so and have never been disappointed.

The recipe originally came from a Betty Crocker Cookbook and is far and away better than any other recipe for sugar cookies I've tried. I don't make them much any more, it's only fun to do these with kids who want to make cookies!
