2/3 cup undiluted Carnation Evaporated Milk
1 2/3 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups mini-marshmallows
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Mix evaporated milk, sugar and salt in saucepan over medium heat. Bring to boil; cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. (Time when mixture starts to “bubble” around edges of pan.) Remove from heat. Add marshmallows, chocolate pieces and n vanilla. Stir vigorously for 1 minute (or until marshmallows melt). Pour into 8” square buttered pan. Garnish with nuts. Cool. Cut in squares (makes about 2 pounds). (or for nut fudge, add nuts to fudge mixture before pouring in pan.)

This recipe used to be in all the magazines around the holidays. Think it had to be a Carnation Evaporated Milk ad since it is the only brand name mentioned.
