4 boneless pork loin chops, 3/4 inch thick
2 Tbsp flour
1 Tsp butter
1/2 cup chopped green onions
2 garlic cloves, minced
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
1/2 Tsp thyme
8 oz can of beer, room temperature
salt
fresh ground black pepper

Lightly flour both sides of chops. Melt butter in nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Brown chops quickly on both sides. Remove chops from pan.
To the drippings in the pan, add green onions, garlic, mushrooms and thyme. Saute about one minute. Return chops to skillet and add beer. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 7 to 8 minutes or until meat test done. Season with salt & pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley if desired.
