Crust:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
2 Tbsp. water

Cut butter and water into flour and spread onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Filling:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. water
1 tsp.almond extact
1 c. flour
3 eggs

Boil water until butter melts; stir in almond extract, add flour. Remove from heat and add eggs, 1 at a time. Bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes.

Toppimg:

1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 Tbsp. melted butter
2 Tbsp, water (or more)

Combine ingredients and spread on top of puff. Sprinkle with slivered almonds. Slice into small pieces. Serves 20.
