1 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp soda
1 t. cream of tarter
1/2 t. salt
1/2 c. nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix- roll in balls. Dip most of ball in water then in sugar. Press thumb in center. Bake 375 for 10 - 12 minutes.
