1 c. Butter or margarine 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. Brown sugar 2 eggs 1 t. vanilla 3 c. Flour 1 t. salt 1 1/2 t. Baking Soda 1 1/2 t. Cream of Tartar
Cream butter or margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla then stir in dry ingredients which have been combined. Drop by half-teaspoonsfuls on greased baking sheerts. Bake at 375º for 12 to 15 minutes
