1 lb. dates, chopped (or any fruit)
1 lb. pecans
1 lb. cherries, candied
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
3 whole eggs
1 t. vanilla extract

Sift flour with sugar, baking powder and salt. Pour over
fruit. Then beat eggs with vanilla and pour over fruit.
Mix well and pour into greased loaf or tube pan. Bake in
a 325 degree oven 1 hr. 20 min. Let sit in pan 10 min.
Dampen with grape juice.
