1 1/2 c. Wesson Oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 T. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
3 c. tart apples, sliced thin

ICING:
1 stick Oleo
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream oil and sugar. Add eggs and sifted dry
ingredients. Add rest of ingredients. Dough will be
thick. Spread into greased loaf pan. Bake at 325
degrees 55-60 minutes.

Mix icing ingredients and cook 2-3 minutes over low
heat. Pour over cake while hot and put hole in cake.
Serve warm with cream.
